Acupuncture & Electroacupuncture

Acupuncture is a holistic healing practice that involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points on the body to restore balance, promote natural healing, and address a wide range of health conditions. By stimulating these strategic points, acupuncture activates the body's self-healing mechanisms, improving overall well-being.

Electroacupuncture is an advanced form of acupuncture that incorporates low-frequency electrical currents applied to the acupuncture needles. This technique enhances the therapeutic effects of traditional acupuncture, providing deeper stimulation and potentially greater efficacy in addressing pain, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and other health concerns.

Cupping*

Cupping is a traditional therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create a suction effect. This suction helps to increase blood circulation, loosen muscle tension, and promote the flow of energy in the body. Cupping is commonly used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, improve relaxation, and enhance overall well-being.

Tui Na*

Tui Na, also known as Chinese therapeutic massage, is a hands-on bodywork technique that originates from traditional Chinese medicine. It involves various manual manipulation techniques such as kneading, pressing, and stretching to stimulate the body's energy channels, release tension, and promote balance and healing. Tui Na is commonly used to address musculoskeletal issues, promote relaxation, improve circulation, and alleviate pain.

Moxibustion*

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves burning dried mugwort herb, known as moxa, near specific acupuncture points or on the surface of the skin. The heat generated from moxibustion stimulates these points and promotes the flow of energy (Qi) in the body, helping to address various health conditions. Moxibustion is commonly used to alleviate pain, boost the immune system, improve circulation, and strengthen overall vitality.

Auricular Acupuncture*

The ear is considered a microsystem of the entire body, with each point corresponding to different organs, systems, or specific conditions. By inserting fine needles or applying gentle pressure to these points, auricular acupuncture aims to restore balance and promote healing throughout the body. It is commonly used for pain management, addiction treatment, stress reduction, weight management, and a variety of other health concerns.

Gua Sha*

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to promote blood circulation and stimulate the body's natural healing processes. The scraping action helps to release stagnant energy, reduce inflammation, and relieve muscle tension. Gua sha is often used to address pain, tension, and tightness in the muscles, as well as to promote detoxification and improve overall well-being. It can be applied to various areas of the body, such as the back, neck, shoulders, and limbs, using a gentle and controlled scraping motion.
